Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time High Dosage Tutor to work with elementary and middle school students after school, providing tutoring in reading and math. The role offers seasonal, part-time hours (2–3.5 hours daily, 5 days a week) in a small group setting up to 3 students per tutor.

Responsibilities include implementing the curriculum, scoring assessments, and maintaining clear communication with school staff and families.

Qualifications

• Proof of graduation from high school or GED is required.
• 48 college semester units or 60 college quarter units are required.
• Experience with young children preferred; ability to inspire and motivate.

Responsibilities

• Provide small group and individual interventions for students.
• Engage children and youth by following the Intervention curriculum.
• Read to students, listen as they read, and participate in oral communication with students.
• Accurately score student assessments and monitor progress.
• Assist staff with strategies based on individual students' needs and abilities.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
