Job summary

CHIME Institute is seeking an After School Staff to assist with after school programs and student activities. You will help supervise students, tutor in core subjects, and implement IEP-aligned strategies under supervision.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 2:00pm–5:30pm, on-site at our Los Angeles location. Candidates should be reliable, patient, and committed to creating a safe, nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 3–6 months of experience working with children preferred.
• Experience in school-based or after school programs is a plus.
• Ability to supervise and support students in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and implementing academic, enrichment, health, and recreational activities.
• Help tutor students in reading, writing, math and related subjects.
• Supervise students and support behavior and safety.
• Mentor students and model positive conduct.
• Maintain safe environments and collect participation data.
• Support staff via training and development opportunities.
• Follow policies and report incidents per procedures.
• Assist with toileting and basic nursing tasks as needed.
