Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) seeks an EXL TK/K Instructor to provide engaging, play-based learning for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students in after-school and enrichment programs. You will foster a safe, nurturing environment that supports early literacy, numeracy, social-emotional growth, and relationships with families and staff.

Ideal candidates bring an associate degree or 48 college units, experience with young children, and ability to differentiate activities for

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or 48 college units completed.
• Experience with young children in educational, childcare, or enrichment settings.
• Ability to engage diverse families and cultures with warmth and respect.
• Ability to supervise groups of young children safely and effectively.
• Proficient with email and program documentation systems.
• Criminal background and TB clearances and mandated reporter training completed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, play-based learning experiences for TK/K.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment that supports social-emotional growth.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff.
• Differentiate activities to meet diverse developmental and linguistic needs.
• Maintain attendance records and required documentation with confidentiality.
• Communicate safety concerns and incidents to the coordinator promptly.
