Job summary

Default Brand in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Out-of-School Time Assistant Site Coordinator to support after-school programs for elementary students. This part-time role offers Monday–Friday afternoon coverage from approximately 1:00 to 6:00 PM, 25 hours per week, reporting to the Out-of-School Time Operations Manager.

You will help supervise students, assist with daily and weekly schedules, lead activities, manage attendance and snack records, and communicate with parents daily while upholding

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework in education or CDA credential with emphasis on school-age care.
• Two years of verifiable experience caring for and supervising four or more school-aged children.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and inviting after-school environment compliant with licensing standards.
• Actively supervise students, ensuring visibility, audibility and intervention when needed.
• Lead activities and plan a minimum of four lessons per month.
• Communicate with parents daily, sharing positives and challenges.
• Record student attendance and snack records accurately.
