Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher in California to lead and mentor teachers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing classroom. You will partner with parents to support the child’s education and help drive enrollment and program engagement.

The role emphasizes collaboration with center staff and leadership to achieve goals. The position requires an active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (preferred), and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• Active CDA Credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• English proficiency to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum respecting the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child care and education.
• Support center success with enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, authorities, and partners.
