Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher in California to lead classrooms, implement curriculum, and foster a safe learning environment. You will partner with families to support children’s growth and work with center staff to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals.

The role requires 2–3 years of early childhood experience, CDA/NAEYC candidacy, and the ability to read, write, and speak English. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is expected.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor other teachers in the classroom; model behavior and provide feedback.
• Implement the curriculum in line with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support children’s care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
