Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our California team. You will implement our curriculum, create a safe, nurturing classroom, and partner with families and center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

Required: CDA or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years ECE experience, Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, CPR/First Aid, ability to lift 40 lb, and English communication. State qualifications must be met or pursued.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required or in progress.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• English reading/writing/speaking to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom and model behaviors.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child care and education goals.
• Support center success with enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and authorities.
