Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead and mentor in a caring classroom environment. You will implement the center’s curriculum, create a safe space for kids to learn and play, and partner with parents to ensure high-quality care.

You will collaborate with center staff and leadership to meet enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals while building strong relationships with families and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and ability to multitask.
• Active CDA Credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer is preferred.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, authorities and partners.
