Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring teachers to lead and mentor in the classroom, implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will partner with parents to support each child’s learning and work with center staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with families and works across community contacts and corporate partners to deliver exceptional early

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds, indoors or outdoors.
• Able to communicate in English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; role-model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners.
