Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an for Santa Ana, CA to deliver hands-on STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills, and/or Fitness instruction in after-school programs. Instructors receive training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, and report to a Program Success Manager.

The role is part-time, requires AA degree or higher, 2+ years teaching experience preferred, and reliable transportation. Training is mandatory and scheduling must be honored.

Qualifications

• AA Degree or higher required.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing experience preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Consistency - follow a provided schedule and arrive on time with lessons prepared.
• Competence - deliver standard-aligned instruction and manage materials.
• Communication - engage professionally with Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Creativity - deliver instruction from Nexplore’s programs and tailor as needed.
• Community - engage families and help children access programs.
