Job summary

Mad Science is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead after-school science enrichment in San Francisco. You will facilitate a 1-hour class each week using a preset curriculum.

Sessions run for 8–10 weeks, with high-energy, entertaining yet educational activities for elementary students aged 4–12. We train you in the curriculum and provide all materials; this part-time role may include occasional daytime programs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of elementary-age children (4–12) preferred.
• Available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
• Must have reliable transportation (not public or ride share).
• Background fingerprinting required for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a 1-hour after-school science session using a preset curriculum.
• Each session is a high-energy, part entertainment, part education, weekly for 8–10 weeks.
