Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time STEAM instructor to deliver engaging in-person classes for PreK-12 students, using provided lesson plans and materials. You will teach 3:15 PM - 4:15 PM sessions and coordinate with site staff to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

Ideal candidates have an AA degree or higher, 2+ years of teaching experience, and strong communication skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to complete training are required.

Qualifications

• AA degree (or higher) required.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing experience preferred.
• Must commit to full proposed schedule and have strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach.
• Deliver standard-aligned instruction that cultivates critical thinking and problem solving.
• Engage in professional, responsive, effective communication with Nexplore Program Success Manager.
• Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore's collection of 80+ programs, administering accommodations as relevant.
• Participate in family engagement efforts and empower each child to access and engage in Nexplore programs.
