Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our After School Program at Tully Elementary School in Tully, NY for the 2027 school year. The position follows the school calendar, with an afternoon shift from 2:30 to 5:30 pm and part-time, non-exempt status.

You will lead engaging activities, maintain a safe and supportive environment, and supervise attendance and staff. Qualifications include a HS diploma with relevant experience, a School-age Child Care Credential,

Qualifications

• One of: HS diploma or equivalent plus two years direct experience with children under 13.
• Credential in School-age Child Care or equivalent; or one year of experience with children under 13.
• Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or related field.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and model a positive role for children.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; two years direct experience with children under 13

School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential

Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field
