Job summary

AlphaBEST Education in Wylie, TX, is seeking a Site Director for our after-school program. You will manage day-to-day operations, schedules, staffing, and documentation, oversee curriculum implementation, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and build a safe, inclusive environment that supports student growth and family engagement.

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.

Pay

Starting at $21.25 an hour, based on education

Hours

2:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday - Friday (No weekends! Part-time)

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program
• Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Requirements:

• Must have a BA/BS or CDA in education
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
• Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards
