AlphaBEST Education in Denton, TX is seeking a Site Director to lead our after-school program. You will oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, schedules, and documentation to deliver a safe, engaging experience for students.

This part-time role runs 3:00 pm–6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, starting at $20.50 per hour. You will ensure licensing compliance, support curriculum delivery, and build strong relationships with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Must have BA/BS or CDA in education.
• Flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
• Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections.
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met.
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success.

• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferredMust be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
• Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards
