Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at Fields Memorial School in Bozrah, CT for the 2026–2027 school year.

This part-time, non-exempt position follows the school calendar with a pay rate of $16.94–$18.44 per hour. Responsibilities include facilitating activities, providing a safe, engaging environment, and supporting program operations.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Health clearance including TB screening in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
