Job summary

Orange Community Education & Recreation is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Lions Club Recreation Specialists. This role supports the Youth division by providing before and/or after school care to children in grades K - 5 while aligning with the district mission.

The position is primarily Monday through Friday, before and after school, in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Prior child care and strong communication skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in child care, summer camp or recreation programs.
• Must be able to work a consistent schedule, either before or after school or both.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification desired.
• Ability to pass a required background check.

• Provide before and after school care to children in grades K-5.
• Assist and support Youth division to accomplish the department mission.
