Job summary

The Place for Children with Autism in Chicago is seeking a Behavior Therapist to work 1:1 with children aged 4-12 with ASD, delivering evidence-based therapies under BCBA supervision. This part-time role offers paid training to earn RBT certification and a sign-on bonus.

You'll participate in data collection, collaborate with families and clinical staff, and travel to other clinics as needed, with a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to travel to other clinics to support when assigned.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children aged 4-12 with ASD to develop communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized therapy programs designed by BCBA supervision, collect data, and participate in progress discussions.
• Engage children using play, movement, and laughter to promote skill-building and growth.
• Partner with families to celebrate wins, address challenges, and support each child’s development.
