Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in youth programming, childcare, or education.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working with children aged 6-12.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee a structured after-school program curriculum.
• Plan and organize activities including homework help, arts, sports and recreation.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for all participants.
• Supervise and mentor program assistants and volunteers.
• Manage supplies and inventory; coordinate equipment.
• Communicate with parents and school staff about updates and progress.
• Collaborate with local schools and partners to enhance offerings.
• Maintain attendance records and program documentation.
• Address behavioral issues and promote positive social interactions.
• Contribute to program evaluation and improvement.
