Job summary

Tiny Tunes Daycare in Bronx, NY is seeking a reliable After School Supervisor to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children after school. You will supervise indoor and outdoor activities, assist with homework, and communicate with parents and staff to support student well‑being.

The role is part-time, 25 to 30 hours per week, with a focus on enforcing daycare policies, organizing activities, supervising staff and volunteers, and recording daily notes to keep families informed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with school-age children.
• Strong communication with children, parents, and colleagues.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Assist with homework and provide educational support.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all children in care.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Enforce daycare policies and procedures.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; delegate tasks as needed.
• Attend training and meetings to stay current with best practices.
• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
