Job summary

South Burlington School District is hiring a Schools Out Assistant Site Director for the district assigned location. The role supports the Site Director in programming, planning, supervision and related activities within the afterschool program.

We seek candidates with an Associate degree or equivalent and experience in school programs. Certified First Aid and CPR are required; CPI training within the first year is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or the equivalent course work and experience preferred.
• Experience in program administration and previous school employment preferred.
• Certified in First Aid and CPR. CPI training must be completed within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation of the afterschool program.
• Interact with students, staff, parents, and the community to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide supervision to students and ensure safe participation and conduct.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise monthly field trips.
• Prepare regular reports and relay feedback to the Site Director.
