Job summary

Bellevue Public Schools Foundation Kids’ Time is seeking an Assistant Site Director to support staff and supervise children at designated locations, ensuring a safe, engaging environment while maintaining DHHS licensing compliance.

The role partners with the Site Director on daily operations, billing, attendance, and staff coaching, with flexible AM/PM shifts and occasional evenings or weekends for training.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 19 years
• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: 2 years of experience with children in structured settings or 6 credit hours of DHHS-approved child development training/CDA or related degree
• CPR & First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Background checks completed prior to hire (Nebraska DHHS/FSB checks)
• Reliable transportation
• Employment eligibility verified
• Ability to complete DHHS licensing training hours

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff and children at designated Kids’ Time locations
• Maintain safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities
• Ensure compliance with DHHS licensing requirements
• Assist Site Director with daily operations and staff leadership
• Assist with billing processes and attendance records
• Provide coaching and onboarding support to staff
• Plan and prepare Summer Camp and out-of-school programming
• Meet annual training requirements and maintain certifications
