Job summary

CAMBA, a community nonprofit in New York City, is seeking an Assistant Program Director for the After-School Program at Compass PS 212. The role reports to the Senior Program Manager and focuses on safeguarding participants, managing the after-school office, and maintaining attendance records during program hours.

• Some college credits, undergraduate student or Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children in a group setting.
• Bilingual in English and another language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of participants by following CAMBA protocols and procedures.
• Manage the after-school office daily during program hours.
• Monitor, collect, and compile daily and monthly attendance records.
• Input all client attendance data into databases on a daily basis.
• Maintain participant files and assist with parent workshops.
• Assist with planning staff training and ensure program ratios are maintained.
