This part-time, hourly role reports to the Dean of Operations or After School Care Director and focuses on attendance, student safety, and positive engagement. The ideal candidate enjoys working with youth, maintains classroom structure, and demonstrates a commitment to the school’s values.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior supervision of groups of children in schools, daycare, camp, or youth programs.
• Attributes: Punctual, dependable, attentive, and able to manage student behavior.
• Mission alignment: Commitment to SMART Management & BridgePrep Academy values.
• References: Three professional references, including at least one direct supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students at all times to ensure safety.
• Track attendance accurately and manage check-in and dismissal procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and report incidents.
• Facilitate structured after-school routines, including homework time and enrichment activities.
• Maintain positive relationships with students and enforce consistent behavior.
• Engage with families during pickup and communicate updates professionally.
• Escalate behavioral concerns to leadership when needed.
