Job summary

Downtown Boulder Partnership in Oceanside, CA is seeking dedicated After School Program Line Staff to supervise students and run engaging activities after school. The role requires reliability and the ability to work Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm–6:30 pm, with a focus on safety and positive student engagement.

Ideal candidates will bring childcare experience, strong communication, and the ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities.

Qualifications

Experience with children in educational or childcare settings.
Experience in camps, childcare, or tutoring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
Patience, enthusiasm, and genuine love for working with kids.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage students in after-school activities including homework help and crafts.
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Develop and implement lesson plans promoting thinking, creativity, and social skills.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators.
Ensure activities comply with school policies and safety guidelines.
Pass a background check.
