Job summary

EmBe is seeking a Site Coordinator for School Age Care in Sioux Falls. You will lead daily site operations, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate programming for before/after school and summer activities.

Responsibilities include licensing compliance, family engagement, enrollment processes, and building partnerships with schools. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this full-time role.

Qualifications

• College degree in Elementary Education or related field preferred.
• Experience in SAC management or teaching school-age children.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Professional, self-motivated, and self-directed.
• Computer skills in Word and Excel.
• Broad knowledge of community child care programs.
• No felony conviction in the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the School Age Care site, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and support site staff to provide high-quality programming.
• Ensure curriculum, enrichment activities, and youth development programs are implemented.
• Develop positive relationships with families, schools, and community partners.
• Maintain accurate attendance, licensing, and participant records as required.
