Job summary

Right At School is hiring a Program Manager to oversee after-school programs in California. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, and manage daily activities while maintaining licensing and attendance compliance.

The ideal candidate handles competing priorities with strong communication and child-centered focus. This part-time role runs weekdays 1-6 PM with a pay rate of $26–$30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written, oral and visual communication with adults and children.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of special needs helpful.
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Model safety and joy standards, ensure staff understand roles and responsibilities.
• Support and report on safety protocols and risk mitigation.
• Engage families and staff, respond to inquiries during program hours.
• Maintain attendance records and check-in/check-out procedures.
• Implement daily activities, fitness, and curriculum in a safe environment.
