Job summary

Right At School is hiring a Program Manager for our California after-school programs. You will supervise staff, ensure safety and joyful learning, and manage daily activities from 1-6 PM, Monday to Friday.

The role requires strong communication with families, partners, and children, plus adherence to licensing and attendance procedures. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience with children, and coursework in child development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children and ability to handle diverse needs.
• Strong communication with adults and children.
• Coursework or training in child development.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality service.
• Familiarity with Google tools or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and joy by supervising staff and enforcing policies.
• Report safety protocols and mitigate risks in the program environment.
• Engage with families, partners, and children; respond to inquiries.
• Maintain attendance records and check-in/out procedures per policy.
• Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum in a safe, engaging setting.
