Job summary

Right At School in Washington state seeks a Program Manager to lead a team of educators and oversee daily operations, ensuring safety and compliance with licensing standards and attendance procedures.

You will coach staff, maintain site documentation, and build relationships with families and school partners while delivering engaging enrichment activities for children. This leadership role offers growth in education operations and community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience working with children, including those with special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field preferred.
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills with both adults and children.
• 18+ years of age.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Educators, providing coaching, feedback, and day‑to‑day guidance.
• Keep site documentation, licensing standards, and safety and attendance protocols up to date and compliant with state and company standards.
• Oversee daily check‑in and check‑out procedures, ensuring accurate name-to-face attendance records.
• Communicate regularly with families, school partners, and Area Manager, responding promptly to emails, calls, and inquiries during program hours.
• Plan and oversee daily enrichment curriculum, movement, team games, and independent activity stations delivered by your team.
• Address and resolve day‑to‑day issues or conflicts among staff, students, or families.
• Monitor the program environment for safety, addressing hazards and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns promptly and maintain accurate documentation.
