Job summary

Right At School in Kennewick, WA is seeking a Program Manager to lead a team, coach staff, and oversee daily operations across Before/After School and break programs. You will maintain safety, licensing compliance, and strong relationships with families and school partners.

You will guide enrichment activities, monitor attendance, and ensure prompt communication during program hours, with opportunities for leadership growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience managing competing priorities while delivering quality service to staff, families, and school partners
• High school diploma or GED completed
• Experience working with children, including those with unique or special needs
• Coursework or training in child development or a related field (preferred)
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills with both adults and children
• Comfortable modeling professional standards around students, parents, staff, and community members
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or willingness to learn
• At least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Educators, providing coaching, feedback, and day-to-day guidance
• Keep site documentation, licensing standards, and safety and attendance protocols up to date and compliant with state and company standards
• Oversee daily check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate name to face attendance records
• Communicate regularly with families, school partners, and your Area Manager, responding promptly to emails, calls, and inquiries during program hours
• Plan and oversee daily enrichment curriculum, movement, team games, and independent activity stations delivered by your team
• Address and resolve day-to-day issues or conflicts among staff, students, or families
• Monitor the program environment for safety, addressing hazards and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns promptly and maintain accurate documentation
