Job summary

Replications, Inc. seeks an After-School Group Leader in Brooklyn, NY for a part-time, hourly role. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00–6:00 pm, location 3117 Avenue W.

You will create a safe, structured environment, lead activities, provide homework help, and support students’ social-emotional development, reporting to the After-School Director. Requirements include at least 18 years old, a high school diploma with three years of relevant experience or a related degree with two years

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• HS diploma plus 3 years of relevant experience or degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• DOE Fingerprinted.
• Experience in after-school or youth programming preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement structured programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily group sessions to build community and support SEL.
• Build relationships with students through check-ins and coaching.
• Apply restorative practices to address conflicts.
• Reinforce positive behavior with incentives and feedback.
• Greet students during arrival and track attendance.
• Facilitate enrichment clubs and activities.
• Contribute to lesson and activity planning and materials.
• Assist with events like showcases and family nights.
• Meet regularly with the Program Director.
• Coordinate with school-day staff to align expectations.
