Job summary

Replications, Inc. in Bronx, NY is seeking an After-School Group Leader to create a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students in after-school programming.

You will plan daily activities that support academic growth, social-emotional development, homework help, and enrichment clubs while modeling positive behavior. You will build strong relationships with students, coordinate with school-day staff, and report to the After-School Director.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma with three years of relevant experience or a related degree with two years of relevant experience.
• DOE fingerprinting is required.
• Experience working with or leading youth in educational, after-school, community-based, or recreational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily group sessions that build community and promote social–emotional growth.
• Build relationships with students through regular check-ins and coaching conversations.
• Apply restorative practices to address conflicts and repair relationships.
• Reinforce positive behavior through incentives and consistent expectations.
• Greet students during arrival and follow up with students who are absent.
• Facilitate enrichment clubs, academic support blocks, and community-building activities.
• Assist with program-wide events and coordinate with school-day staff.
