Job summary

Arc Experience in Southern California is seeking a Program Leader to guide after-school activities, supervise student safety, assist with homework, and lead enrichment clubs such as career readiness, cooking, anime, and dance. Greet students at dismissal, organize daily activities, monitor behavior, and create engaging learning experiences.

English-Spanish bilingual candidates are encouraged; this part-time, non-exempt role reports to the Site Coordinator and runs Monday to Friday, 2pm–6pm on

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Ability to talk to kids and parents comfortably.
• Requires 48+ college credits or pass an academic proficiency exam.
• TB test and Live Scan background check required.
• English-Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Covid-19 vaccination documentation may be required by the school site.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities, including homework help, recreation, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities and create unique clubs for students.
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and monitoring student behavior.
• Oversee safety and well-being during after-school activities and adapt activities to diverse needs.
