Job summary

Family Health Centers at NYU Langone is seeking a Program Supervisor for the Brooklyn school-age program. The role oversees vision, goals, and curriculum aligned with NYC standards, while coordinating staff development and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with the ECC to ensure smooth continuity of care and strengthen partnerships with families and community organizations. The position emphasizes coach leadership, continuous improvement, and facility planning for program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is required.
• Actively working toward a Master's degree in Education, Child Development, School-Age Education, Social Work, Public Administration, or related field.
• Experience in after-school, OST, or youth development programs is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Review attendance and school report cards and follow up accordingly.
• Coordinate staff development (on/off site) with a train-the-trainer approach.
• Support students with IEPs and ensure services.
• Enter attendance and program reports in DYCD Connect and OST online.
• Coordinate SYEP paperwork and supervise SYEP youth.
• Recruit, hire, and observe staff to evaluate service quality.
• Plan and coordinate curricula with school-age staff.
• Collaborate with data team and regulators for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with caregivers and community to promote program goals.
• Recruit new participants for school year and summer sessions.
• Partner with family support to address educational, health, and social needs.
• Cultivate partnerships with community organizations to enhance programming.
• Ensure compliance with NYC DOE, DYCD, and licensing requirements.
• Serve as a group leader during the academic year.
• Coordinate with Director to ensure high-quality services and continuity of care.
