Qualifications

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years experience working with children - school-age preferred.
• Have completed college credits or be able to complete additional credits within five years.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to supervise staff and build relationships.
• Ability to pass a federal background check and respond to safety emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the school-age program.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
• Maintain open communication with families and staff.
• Assist with staff hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Ensure DCYF licensing compliance and safety standards.
• Assist with registrations, enrollment, and budgeting tasks.
• Attend required trainings and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
