Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources, Inc (BACR) seeks an EXL Program Instructor to deliver after-school expanded learning experiences for K–12 youth, emphasizing SEL, equity, and trauma-informed practices.

You will build relationships, engage families, and collaborate with school staff, using culturally responsive methods. 20–30 hours weekly, pay rate $24–$27/hour, benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or 48 college units.
• Criminal background check and TB clearance.
• Ability to work during after-school hours through mid-June.
• Experience with K–12 youth in educational, enrichment, or community settings.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
• Mandated Reporter certification and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships and a sense of belonging with students.
• Support students' SEL through relationship-building and restorative practices.
• Address conflicts and bullying using restorative approaches.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and team members to support goals.
