Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources, Inc. is seeking a part-time EXL Program Instructor to lead after-school academic, enrichment, and social-emotional learning activities for K–12 students. You will help create a supportive, inclusive environment and engage students in purposeful play and learning.

You will supervise up to 22 youth, work with families and school staff, and complete attendance/logs while participating in required trainings. A background check and TB clearance are required.

Qualifications

  • Must have an Associate Degree or 48 college units or pass the Instructional Aide exam.
  • Must pass criminal background check and TB test clearance.
  • Ability to lead and supervise up to 22 students during activities.
  • Must complete mandated trainings (Mandated Reporter, Sexual Harassment, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engaging academic, enrichment, and social-emotional learning activities for K–12 students.
  • Supervise groups up to 22 youth during indoor/outdoor activities.
  • Maintain attendance and program documentation; collaborate with staff and families.
