Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) is seeking a full-time coordinator to support child and youth growth, development, and positive youth leadership at school sites. The role emphasizes safe environments, restorative behavior guidance, and family engagement.

The position involves collaborating with coordinators to design engaging curricula, implement academic support, SEL, and enrichment activities aligned with school-day learning and youth interests. Strong DEI understanding is valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or 48+ college units, or passing score on Instructional Aide Exam.
• Background check and TB test clearance required.
• 3 years of experience in a K-12 setting or youth lead program.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading adults.
• Proficiency in Word, email, Google Drive, and related tech.
• Full-time, Monday–Friday availability.
• Commitment to a full academic school year.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, inclusive environment for youth development.
• Build positive relationships with students and encourage youth leadership.
• Assist in designing and delivering project-based, culturally responsive curriculum.
• Support academic and SEL enrichment activities.
• Track student participation, progress, and engagement.
