Kidcreate Studio is seeking an enthusiastic After School Program Instructor for elementary students in Gaithersburg and Rockville areas. The role runs 3–6 pm, with a part-time schedule during the school year.

You’ll create a safe, engaging, and creative environment, leading age-appropriate activities and supervising students after school. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is energetic and creative, and can maintain a positive classroom atmosphere while communicating with families

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students during the after-school program.
• Plan and lead educational, recreational, arts and science enrichment activities.

• Maintain appropriate classroom and behavior-management expectations.
• Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, teachers, and program staff.
• Monitor student safety and follow all program policies and procedures.
• Prepare and organize materials and activity areas.
• Participate in special events, themed activities, and program projects.
• Complete required attendance, incident, and other program documentation.

Position Overview

Position Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Afternoons/Monday–Friday, during the school year

Location: Elementary Schools in Gaithersburg and Rockville Area

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and engaging After School Program Instructor to join our team. The instructor will provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for elementary school students during after-school hours (3-6 pm).

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is energetic and creative, and can lead age-appropriate activities while maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students during the after-school program.
• Plan and lead educational, recreational, arts and science enrichment activities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
