Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age and complete required MSDE training and orientation.
• 800 hours experience leading groups of children; 90 hours in School Age Curriculum or equivalent with plan toward credential.
• Meet MSDE regulations and maintain quality childcare standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement unit lesson plans.
• Develop and implement daily classroom activities.
• Ensure parents/guardians sign in/out daily.
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and parents.
• Create and maintain a safe, attractive learning environment.
• Organize center events (field trips, photos).
• Follow established childcare policies and MSDE requirements.
• Attend meetings and complete required trainings (First Aid, CPR, Staff Expectations).
