Job summary

Douglas County School System is seeking a leader for the After School Program to provide overall direction and coordination of ASP operations. The role includes supervising ASP staff, managing daily refreshments, and overseeing activities and lesson plans.

You will also handle monthly scheduling, budgeting with the Principal, and prepare required forms and reports. This is a part-time on-site position with a pay rate of $30.00 per hour, as posted.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the After School Program operations and staff.
• Responsible for providing daily refreshments.
• Oversees student and instructor activities, including checking lesson plans.
• Prepares monthly work schedule and reports.
• Orders necessary materials and supplies.
• Sets up a yearly budget with Principal.
• Implements procedures for severe weather, conflicts, behavior issues, and emergencies.
• Contacts parents regarding ASP issues when required.
• Conducts ASP staff meetings and in-services.
• Submits forms to Central Office for new personnel.
• Implements site ASP safety plan.
• Assists with corrections to bookkeeping errors if necessary.
• Ensures proper financial procedures are followed.
• Keeps attendance records for students.
• Updates forms as needed.
• Administers student medications when needed.
• Issues late pick up notes, late fee notes, and discipline notes to parents.
• Handles discipline problems as they arise.
• Collects payroll sheets to turn in to the Bookkeeper.

• Responsible for assisting with corrections to bookkeeping errors if necessary.
