Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers seeks an Educational Support Assistant to actively supervise students in the school-based child care program under the guidance of a qualified leader. The role focuses on building positive relationships with families and school staff while supporting activities and maintaining a safe, engaging environment.

This position requires 16+ years of age, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under supervision with duties ranging from activity facilitation to safety

Qualifications

• The assistant must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes tasks assigned by director, assistant director, or leader.
• Follows ECS Procedures Manual.
• Participates and plays with students in structured and unstructured activities.
• Maintains safe conditions for students and staff.
• Follows and enforces program discipline policies and procedures.
• Assists with maintenance, proper storage, and repair of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Contributes ideas for enrichment activities, curriculum, and program quality.
• Demonstrates excellent communication with parents, students, school staff and co workers.
• Follows district policies and goals and uses district facilities with care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
