Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking an attentive Educational Assistant to supervise students in the school-based child care program under the direction of a qualified leader. You will help maintain a safe, supportive environment and foster positive relationships with families and school staff.

Responsibilities include following procedures in the ECS Manual, guiding structured and unstructured activities, communicating with parents, and supporting program quality and discipline policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with school age children and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Active supervision of students in the school-based child care program.
• Follow procedures as stated in the ECS Procedures Manual.
• Participates and plays with students in structured and unstructured activities.
• Maintains safe conditions for students and staff.
• Follows and enforces program discipline policies and procedures.
• Assists with maintenance, proper storage, and repair of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Contributes ideas for enrichment activities, curriculum, and program quality.
• Demonstrates excellent communication with parents, students, school staff and co workers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
