Job summary

BrightBee is seeking an After School Paraprofessional in the San Francisco area to support students in local schools.

You’ll work 2–5 days per week, 1–6pm, with 1:1 or classroom support; no two days are the same, but every day matters as you help students learn, grow, and succeed. This independent contractor role offers flexible, app-based work and the chance to build experience in education and behavior support.

Qualifications

• 48 college credits required.
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• RBT experience a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

What You’ll Do

As a BrightBee After School Paraprofessional, you’ll support students in local schools—helping them learn, grow, and succeed. You might work 1:1 with a student or support a classroom alongside a teacher. No two days are the same—but every day matters. Before You Start

To keep students safe, you’ll need to:

• Pass a background check
• Follow safety and reporting guidelines
• Complete required school clearances which you are responsible for paying.
• Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position. Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. The average cost of completing clearance in California for paraprofessional roles is between $288-$303.
