Job summary

Mentoring Alliance in Friendswood, Texas seeks an After School Group Leader to foster youth development in an enrichment setting. This part-time role (17–20 hours/week) focuses on leading elementary students after school, serving as a positive role model within a Christian ministry.

The ideal candidate is committed to excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their full potential. You must meet age and background requirements and be able to work a weekday afternoon schedule.

Qualifications

• Agree with Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.
• 17+ years of age; High School Diploma or GED preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
