Job summary

The-Mentoring-Alliance is seeking an After School Program Leader to foster youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. This is a non-exempt, part-time role approximately 17-20 hours per week, with a focus on excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities include leading enrichment activities, mentoring students, and upholding the ministry's faith-driven mission as a Gospel-centered

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age; HS Diploma or GED preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities.
• Foster youth development in an after school setting.
• Be a role model to kids in the community.
• Support mission-driven ministry by modeling faith and outreach.
