Job summary

YWCA Central Carolinas is seeking a Student Success Advisor to support literacy-based after-school programming for youth in grades K-5 at multiple Charlotte-area locations. The role supports program activities when enrollment is high, coordinating with staff and families to ensure smooth operations.

The position emphasizes on-site engagement, adherence to safety protocols, bus coordination, and data entry for attendance, meal counts, and sign-ins.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must possess a valid North Carolina or South Carolina driver license with three years of driving experience.
• Experience working with youth and ability to problem solve and plan ahead.

Responsibilities

• Implements monthly activity schedules and leads literacy-focused sessions.
• Monitors attendance and ensures only active participants are enrolled, reporting absences.
• Performs CACFP nutrition duties including meal counts and documentation.
