Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is currently hiring enthusiastic and dependable After-School Lacrosse Instructors to lead lacrosse enrichment programs for elementary-aged students at schools throughout Baltimore City.

Ideal candidates are coaches, former players, PE teachers, or individuals passionate about working with kids. The role offers a flexible afternoon schedule with curriculum and equipment provided, and no lesson planning required.

Qualifications

• Lacrosse playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5.
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Baltimore City.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must successfully complete the required Baltimore City Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging lacrosse sessions for elementary students
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
• Teach fundamental stick skills, passing, catching, shooting, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Encourage participation, confidence, and skill development
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
