Job summary
BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and reliable After-School Sports Coaches to work with elementary students in the Baltimore area. The role is part-time, after-school with sessions from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 1.5 hours each, Monday through Friday.
Curriculum and equipment are provided, and no lesson planning is required. This position offers valuable experience in youth development and sports instruction, with opportunities for advancement within BBA Afterschool and a flexible afternoon
Qualifications
- Experience playing or coaching Basketball, Soccer, or Flag Football preferred but not required.
- Comfortable working with children in grades K through 5.
- Reliable transportation to schools throughout the Baltimore area.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Must complete school district background check and fingerprinting.
Responsibilities
- Coach elementary students in Basketball, Soccer, and Flag Football activities.
- Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
- Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
- Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and participation.
- Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.
