Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic and dependable After-School Lacrosse Instructors to lead lacrosse enrichment programs for elementary students at schools across Baltimore City.

Join a rewarding team that values coaching, mentoring, and positive community impact. Roles are part-time, Monday through Friday, with 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM sessions and curriculum provided. Transportation to schools is required, and a background check is mandated.

Qualifications

• Lacrosse playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5.
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Baltimore City.
• Must successfully complete the Baltimore City Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging lacrosse sessions for elementary students
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
• Teach fundamental stick skills, passing, catching, shooting, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Encourage participation, confidence, and skill development
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership

Position Details

• Part-time, after-school position
• Monday through Friday
• Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
• 1.5-hour sessions
• $37.50 per session ($25 per hour)
• No weekends
• No lesson planning required
• Curriculum and equipment provided
